平野校舎では昨年より研修旅行（修学旅行）先をベトナム第二の都市、ホーチミンとしており、原則２年生は全員が参加します。そのため、事前に、生徒がベトナムの文化や社会的背景について学ぶ機会として、「べトナムを学ぶワークショップ」を開催しました。 当日のプログラムは、２部構成とし、第１部は次年度ベトナム研修旅行に参加する１年生全員が参加。第２部は、外部からの参加者（オンライン）と希望する生徒を対象に実施しました。 

　プログラムには、JICAボランティアとしてベトナムで活動された２人の講師を迎えました。 第１部と第２部両方の講師を務めていただいた、宮嶋愛弓先生は、ベトナムから帰国後も長くベトナムと関わって来られ、昨年、自身の専門分野である作業療法士を育てる専門学校をベトナムの地に造られました。そのような長い経験から、「ベトナムから見た日本はどのように映っているのか、共生のための第一歩は？」という話を分かりやすく説明してくださり、多くの生徒が興味深く聞き入りました。 

　第２部では、中小企業連携の専門家としてベトナムで活動された小山さんから、ベトナム生活で感じた様々な疑問や楽しい経験を、楽しく話してくださり、別の視点で見たベトナム人、ベトナム社会について学びました。第２部でも、沢山の生徒から質問や意見が出され、時間が足りないくらい楽しいワークショップとなりました。 

“Workshop to learn Vietnam” 

Hirano senior high school send students to Ho Chi Minh City, the second largest city in Vietnam as school trip and in principle, all 2nd grade students participate. In order to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the culture and social background of Vietnam, “Workshop to learn Vietnam” was held at school by inviting former JICA volunteers worked in Vietnam. 

The program consisted of two parts. The first part was attended by all first-year students who will participate in the school trip to Vietnam in the following year. The second part was open to external participants (online) and students who wished to learn more about Vietnam.  

The program featured two lecturers who had worked in Vietnam as JICA volunteers. 

Ms. Miyajima has been involved with Vietnam for a long time after returning from Vietnam. Last year, she established a vocational school in Vietnam to train occupational therapists, her field of expertise. Based on her long experience, she explained in an easy-to-understand manner how Japan is seen from Vietnam and what are the first steps toward harmonious coexistence. Many students listened to the lecture with great interest. 

In the second part, Mr. Koyama, who worked in Vietnam as a specialist in small and medium business cooperation, talked about various issues and pleasant experiences he had encountered while living in Vietnam, and the students learned about Vietnamese people and Vietnamese society from a different perspective. In the second part of the workshop, many students asked questions and expressed their opinions, making the workshop so enjoyable that the time was not enough.
